To begin with, SAFARI LAKA is all about Patrick Aubert, a “zanatany” (foreigner born in Madagascar) who is passionate about nature..
In the 80’s, he felt that his regional discoveries and sharing his pioneering approach could be of interest to visitors.
He began by clearing tracks with his machete while increasing villagers’ awareness of tourists’ interests and their potential visits. The story starts from there… Then Isabelle joined the family. Having graduated in tourism studies, she brought her support with regards to product normalization & standardization, and her knowledge of the evolution in market demand. Over the years, care in selecting and training guides has led to securing a professional and friendly team.
This is how Safari Laka distinguishes itself from other tour operators: it simply offers a different and authentic experience !
